About Orisan Sage
Built by Orisan Clinical Systems to give medical professionals the drug information depth they deserve — mechanistic detail, traceable evidence, and clinical context that respects provider expertise.
Our Mission
Orisan Clinical Systems builds healthcare technology that actually works together. Sage is our drug information platform, built because existing interaction tools generate noise, not insight.
Most interaction checkers flag everything at the same volume. A clinically significant CYP3A4 inhibition gets the same alert as a theoretical additive effect with minimal clinical evidence. Prescribers learn to click past the warnings — and the tool becomes background noise at the exact moment it should be most useful.
Sage exists to fix that. We give prescribers mechanistic detail and traceable evidence so they can make better-informed medication decisions. We surface the pharmacological why behind every interaction, cite the evidence, and present it in a format that fits into clinical workflows — not one that interrupts them.
The decision always belongs to the clinician. Sage makes sure that decision is well-informed.
What We Believe
Three principles that shape how we build Orisan Sage.
Mechanism Over Alerts
Clinicians should understand why an interaction matters, not just see a color-coded severity flag. Orisan Sage surfaces the pharmacological mechanism — enzyme pathways, receptor competition, additive effects — so providers can evaluate clinical relevance in context.
Traceable Evidence
Every interaction finding should be traceable to published evidence — FDA label data, peer-reviewed literature, or established clinical guidelines. If we surface it, you can verify it.
Clinician Authority
Drug information tools should inform, never override, clinical judgment. The decision always belongs to the clinician. Sage provides the evidence and context — you apply your expertise.
A Clinical-First Approach
Sage is built on data sources that clinicians already trust — and we are transparent about the boundaries of our coverage.
We do not claim to cover every drug or every interaction. We publish what is in scope and what is not, so providers can use Sage with clear expectations about its capabilities and limitations.
How We Build
- Grounded in published data. Built on FDA label data, peer-reviewed literature, and published clinical guidelines — not proprietary black-box algorithms.
- Documented, bounded coverage. We publish what is in scope and what is not. No vague claims about completeness — just honest documentation of our dataset.
- Continuously updated. New interaction data is incorporated as it is published. Coverage expands with each data refresh cycle.
This drug information is provided for educational and informational purposes. All medication decisions require vetting by a qualified medical professional. Consult a physician or pharmacist before starting, stopping, or modifying any treatment.
